I really enjoy being a part of school life at Clover Hill, the children are able to learn in an excellent environment which prepares them for life experiences during and beyond their time at Clover Hill.
I became actively involved in the school when my son, Sam joined reception (now in Year 3) and I joined the PTA becoming deputy chair in January 2012.
I became a Parent Governor in September 2013 as I am particularly interested in supporting local children’s education and development. This role has given me the opportunity to be involved in school decisions and the impacts on education. I have gained more insight and understanding to the school as well as the opportunity to see children interacting with friends and educators.
I am the Numeracy Link Governor for the School and a member of the Finance Committee and Health and Safety Committee.
I have been a Training Programme Manager within the NHS for the last 10 years, the programme arranges 3 year training programmes for qualified doctors to become GPs by allocating hospital and GP posts.
