We spent a fantastic day at Eden Camp – learning more about WWII and looking at artefacts that brought our topic to life.
Alexander spotted his great-grandfather in a photograph. He proudly showed his classmates the uniform (on display) that he actually wore which had been donated to the museum by his granny. What a special moment.
We managed to fit all 30 of us inside an Anderson shelter and squeezed 3 into a Morrision shelter – it was rather a squash!!
