Our KS2 families were treated to an outstanding Carol service today at St Mary’s Church led by our superb Year 6.
The children sang carols, performed poems, danced, played carols on their instruments- brass and woodwind, recited readings from the bible and also entertained us with historical Christmas facts about Newcastle.
Our families returned to Clover Hill with us to enjoy a hot cuppa and a delicious mince pie.
Father Barry would like to say a big thank you to our families who made a donation to the church after the service. This raised just over £300 which will go towards the upkeep of our beautiful church and also support charities throughout the year.
Well done Year 6 and the rest of KS2 – what a fabulous morning we had!!
