Did you know that the government and chief medical officers suggest that all children and young people should engage in moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity for at least 60 minutes and up to several hours every day?

30 minutes of this should take place at school. At Clover hill we keep children active by;

  • providing 2 hours of PE per day
  • Taking part in the daily mile
  • encouraging active lunch and play time

This spring term we will be running ‘Fitness Fridays’ for children from Years 1-6 where all children will be taking part in fitness sessions provided by a professional personal trainer paid for by our school sports premium funding. We hope these classes will equip the children with the ideas  and knowledge to keep themselves fit and active and inspire the children to become active individuals.
