Year 2

Miss Mitchell (Class Teacher), Mrs Potts (Teaching Assistant)
I have more than 25 years teaching experience having taught across Early Years and KS1 in six different schools all over the country.

I have worked at Clover Hill since 2007, spending 8 years in Reception before moving to Year 2 in 2015.

As well as teaching my class I am also the Key Stage 1 leader and have overall school responsibility for Special Educational Needs and Modern Foreign Languages.

In Year 2 we are lucky to have our own Teaching Assistant, Mrs Potts who works hard in class supporting the children every morning. She has been a Clover Hill parent and has worked at the school for 8 years both as a lunchtime supervisor, Special Needs Assistant and Teaching Assistant.

Year 2 is an extremely important year, teaching a lot of new knowledge and skills and preparing the children to leave Key Stage 1 and move onwards and upwards to Key stage 2 and beyond.
