Year 3

Mrs Gibson & Miss Arkless (Class Teachers), Miss Sinclair (Teaching Assistant)

Entering Year 3 means that the big step of moving from Key Stage One to Key Stage Two has begun! We are honoured to be able to guide the children through this exciting new phase in their education.I joined Clover Hill back in 2007 (having previously taught in other schools in Gateshead) and Miss Arkless joined our team in January this year. We are both passionate about supporting the children develop greater concentration, independence and organisational skills. It is our aim to help all our children to be happy, confident and enthusiastic learners in a stimulating and caring environment.

Miss Sinclair is our teaching assistant who works in both Year 3 and Year 4. She provides valuable support right across the curriculum- alongside her artistic flair and sporty disposition!

There are many things to look forward to in Year 3. We have so many fascinating topics to study and, of course, there is nothing more exciting than earning a pen license and finally writing in pen rather than pencil!

If you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to come and see us.
