Year 6 have already designed their Maya masks and so today was the day to get started on making them. We worked in pairs to use papier mache on a balloon to  form the basis of our mask. Lots of tearing paper, applying gallons of glue and hand-washing later and they are starting to take shape. Stay tuned for photos of the finished products...
