On the last day of the half term we wrapped up, pulled on our wellies and had lots of fun exploring our school grounds! We were looking for something very important, the first signs of spring! We were very pleased to find new buds on the trees and some beautiful spring flowers in our woodland area. We talked about how the daffodils and crocuses that we found had grown from a bulb planted in the soil, how that the flowers would be there for us to see for a little while but then the bulb would go back to sleep and the flowers will grow again next year! With lots of time outside we worked up an appetite and enjoyed a snack in the sunshine!
