Our KS2 Athletics teams had a fabulous day at Gateshead Athletics Festival on Friday at Gateshead Stadium. Our Year 3/4 and 5/6 teams competetd in 36 different events between them over the day, many reacing both semi finals and finals in their event. Evereyone worked so hard training for the day and gave their all in their individual events.

We were so sad that the relay semi-finals were rained off as all 4 of our teams had made the semi finals with all looking like they had a great chance at competing in the finals!

We even came away with 6 medals - Congratulations to, Sofia, Molly, James, Zach, Matthew and Freya!

As always, a huge thanks to Miss Sinclair that works so hard all year round, in her own time running the athletics club and training our athletes to such a high standard. We are so grateful to her!
