Reception Class enjoyed spending lots of time outside today during our "Take It Outside Day"!  We explored our grounds looking for signs of spring and although we got caught in a rather heavy shower of rain the sun did put in an appearance.  We looked carefully at our deciduous trees and spotted new buds growing, we are excited to see when we will see the first new leaves appearing!  We also found our first spring flowers, some lovely yellow daffodils and some orange and purple crocuses.  We talked about how these flowers grow from bulbs that remain in the ground all year and sends new shoots up in early spring time.
