We’ve had a great first week back in our second Autumn term. The children have returned enthused: ready to learn. We have introduced our new science topic ‘Sound’ and been learning all about area in Maths. In English we have been looking at the features of a non-chronological report and writing one about guinea pigs.

To end our week we have had a lovely visit from the ladies at Evergreen Salon in Whickam, who are a carbon neutral hair salon campaigning for environmental changes in the hairdressing industry. The children and I have learned all about hair booms and how to reduce waste. Thank you so much for taking the time to come into school.
